Scheme and elements of two engines transmission

On Fig. 6 the scheme of two engines hydro mechanical transmission of self-propelled scraper with two independent engines is presented. In such transmission various selection of power from primary engines (and engines can be different on nominal power and range of working speeds), various transfer numbers of transmission, various loadings on wheel carrier, etc.

Each branch of the scraper transmission (Fig. 7 a ) consists of a diesel engine with a centrifugal regulator 1 , a hydraulic torque converter 2 , a gear of the bridge 3 and wheel carrier 4 . Each of the listed elements of transmission has the certain characteristic (Fig. 7 b ).
